Prior to joining VerSe Innovation, Samir was the Vice President for Star Sports where he was instrumental in launching regional sports channels across India with a special focus on marketing, content, and distribution. He has also led premier sports and channel’s Football portfolio. Under Samir’s leadership, Star Sports witnessed the highest ever ratings for Hero ISL and massive digital traction for the sport. Within the Star family, Samir has also lead brand for Star Plus and has played a significant role in reinstalling the channel as the no. 1 GEC of the country.

When Gaurav started BGBNG Music, the company’s aim was to bridge the gap between mainstream Bollywood music and the then rapidly emerging Indian hip-hop space. Gaurav Wadhwa has always had his hand on the pulse of the nation’s youth. Through pioneering collaborations with Indian influencers and Bollywood stars, chartbusters like Chup, Jhoome, and Kinni Kinni Vaari were born. Big Bang Music has also been able to turn a brand anthem into a viral sensation.
